Summer Glau was an American actor who was famous for playing River Tam in Firefly, the critically-acclaimed TV series. She was also Cameron on Terminator. Sarah Connor Chronicles. Additionally her roles, she appeared in the shows The 4400 The Unit The Cape Arrow Sequestered and Angel Cold Case The Big Bang Theory Chuck as well as appearing as a guest on the show Hawaii Five-0. Additionally, she has appeared in movies such as Serenity, Knights of Badassdom and Knights of Badassdom, the actress has also appeared in TV films and other short films like Mammoth the Initiation of Sarah Deadly Honeymoon assist with the holiday season Dead End Inside the Box and several more. Glau earned numerous awards and honors. Glau was featured twice in FHM's 100 Sexiest Women in the World and also in the Wizard magazine's Sexiest Women of TV list. Maxim added the American on its Hot 100. Glau took home the SFX Award as Best Actress in Serenity. Her appearance in the film Terminator The Sarah Connor Chronicles earned her the Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress. Selena Quintanilla......................Selena was born April 16 1971 in Corpus Christi Texas . Selena is the eldest child born to Marcela Quintanilla. Selena started her professional career when she was eighteen in a band formed by Abraham Quintanilla. The group consisted of Selena and her younger siblings Abraham junior, who played base guitar, and Sister Suzette who was a drummer and Selena was the vocalist of the band. They were known as Selena Y Los Dino and she would perform along with her siblings at various events like weddings, bars, fairs and numerous other venues. Selena, her sisters and their parents were always busy playing in the band. They did not have an early childhood. Yet Abraham helped them become passionate musicians with his determination. Abraham Senior was also in The Los Dinos original band. Selena Y Los Dinos was official formed in the year 1981. The Quintanilla family was behind the band's principal venture. Even though there were times of struggle in the beginning, with a lack of income, the Quintanilla family were determined and persevered in their endeavors to be a success group. Selena Y Los Dinos would be popular in the west States in the early 1980s. In 1986 the band got their first taste of success after Selena received awards for Female Vocalist of the Year as well as Artist of the Year in the Tejano music awards. Since then, Selena Y Los Dinos were one of the most successful winners each year, and earned notoriety and fame. They appeared on a variety of shows in Spanish, including El Show De Johnny Canales Siempre En Domingo and Sabado Gigante.
